When I try to run Veritas Quick Assist from my ev server I get the following error:

Unable to launch Veritas Quick Assist:
Could not verify the application's authenticity. Your list of trusted certificate authorities may be out of date.

Se I run from a computer  that is connect to the Internet I don't get any error. This behaviour as change I have run previous version.

Is there anyway  that I can Run this tools offline?

PS: I run first from my computer to update and then I go to the server to run the tool.

Does not work with Windows 2008 r2  it work with windows 2012 and windows 10.

Hi,

I was able to reproduce the issue in the lab.  I will have to raise this up to see why this might occur on 2008 R2.

I have an older version that does work and have attached it to this post.

Regards,

Patrick

Hi Tonaco_pt,

Did you cancel the option to check for updates when you first open?

Yes, I press "Cancel update check" then I press "I accept the EULA" it tries to Launch Veritas Quick Assist and fails with the error

OK

What version is it from the first screen?

What server type are you running it on?

Thanks,

Patrick

Now I'm at 2.2.145.121.

I test this application in different server and I found out the following:

WIth Windows 7 and server 2008 R2, with or without internet connection it didn't work

With Windows 10 and server 2012 R2, always work.

My Enterprise Vault are in Windows 2008 R2.

Hello, this is a long shot, but can you try the following?

Open I.E. goto internet explorer settings. Select tab Advanced. Scroll down to Security. uncheck:

check for publisher's certificate revocation, check for server certificate revocation and check for signatures on downloaded programs.

when unchecked, close i.e, then start VQA

Hi GertjanA

This was my first thought, when I look was unchecked as expected, I unchecked this on every server because they are not connect to Internet and when I'm applying hotfix it take forever.
