SMTP Journal Archiving - Hotwords

We recently addedd an SMTP target for journaling... everything seems to work except for the abiltiy to search for a hotword within an attachment. We have no issues with hotwords in the body of the message. 

Any ideas as to what we may have missed in our setup?
