Schedule Archiving tasks do not complete

The tasks are scheduled to run 6 AM - 12 PM and 1:30 PM till 12 AM daily.

However, some of the schedule tasks just show as running in the report mode even past the end schedule.

New scheduled run will begin while the older is still active.

Even after I stop and start the task, the report shows the schedule run as running.

Is this because of the schedules or is something else affecting the run time?

Thank you.

I played around with the scheduled task settings (connections, number of items) and have been monitoring the tasks for a few days. They are working as expected now. The start and end on the scheduled times as expected.

Hi mate,

Try the following:

1. Purge the A5/A3 MSMQ queues

2. Restart the EV services

3. Also, open Outlook and ensure it opens up properly.

Yes, at the moment, I restart the task controller and it stops the tasks.

But I dont think restarting the service everyday is not very feasible.

Hello,

Which version of EV have you ?

Could you add 1 or 2 hours at your scheduled ?

Have you enable lately the fast browsing ? If yes, disable it for test whitout.

Have you made a defrag or reorganize of SQL Index ?

I opened a case at the beginning 2017 for a client regarding this issue ... after many tests with Veritas Support we didn't find a solution. We make upgrade in V12.2 a few month ago for this client and now this issue is solve.
