Hi,

Is there a script which can query EV to get compliance (licensed for/usage) data? Has anyone heard of this or have a link to more information?

Thanks

there is no way to script this as far as i can tell. for instance, with mailbox archiving (aka storage mgmt license) and journaling (aka ediscovery license), the license is based on active user mailboxes not archives or system mailboxes or service account mailboxes or disabled accounts etc.

you can also look at the event viewer for what components you're licensed for based on ev's periodic check of the installed licenses.

your best bet is to look at usage reports for active archives and data used
