Hello together,
one of our customers faces a problem after upgrading to EV 12.2.1.
In the vault search he cannot export mails or data to zip. You can see in the dtrace and search log the following error for all users:
Exception: Could not load file or assembly 'file:///D:\Program Files (x86)\Enterprise Vault\Telerik.Windows.Zip.dll' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. Info:Export failed. || User: ****\****** || Diag: Type:System.IO.FileNotFoundException ST: at Symantec.EV.Search.Server.Business.ZipExportHandler.Create()| at Symantec.EV.Search.Server.Business.ItemManager.ExportItems(ExportInput input) Inner:None
The right location for this dll is C:\Program Files (x86)\Enterprise Vault\EVSearch\EVSearchClient\Bin
He tried to register this dll and rerun the FileReRegister.exe but no change here.
Anybody know this issue

This issue occurs because Telerik.Windows.Zip.dll is not in "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Enterprise Vault".
However if you do a search in Windows Search, You can find the file in "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Enterprise Vault \ EVSearch \ EVSearchClient \ Bin".
You can copy Telerik.Windows.Zip.dll from C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Enterprise Vault \ EVSearch \ EVSearchClient \ Bin to C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Enterprise Vault.
then Restart Enterprise Vault Admin service and Restart the IIS service as well.
And do the test.

Hello,
Do you get this error on the clients, or on the server? If on the server, do you have the EV client installed on the EV server?
If on clients, have you tried an uninstall/reinstall of the client? It looks like a path is not properly taken. Perhaps a reinstall fixes this.

Hello Gertjan,
we have tested the behaviour on the client and on the server. In the dtrace for w3wp you can see the error. Also in the search logs on ev server you can see the error line. The ev add-in is not installed on the ev server I think but can not say hundert percent sure.
I dont think its a option to reinstall the clients because every user gets this error when he want to export in the vault search.
Do you think a new install from ev binaries could fix this?
