Secondary Mailbox Archiving Issue

   Environment

EV 10.0.2 for MS exchange

Outlook Client addin 10.0.1.1171

Outlook Client: outlook 2010

Currently, we have two mailboxes configured in outlook, lets say abc.com and xyz.com. abc.com mailbox is set as Default and xyz.com mailbox is set as secondary in outlook profile. The archiving is not enabled for abc.com but it is enabled in xyz.com. 

The issue is that if the OST/data file for ABC.com is set as default, the EV icon is not showing properly (displaying as closed envelope and no archived email icon showing in the mail). It will also show a message stating EV is not available because your primary mailbox is not enabled for use with EV. Archived mails are not opening correctly also.

When the default OST file is changed back to XYZ.com, the EV archiving works. But we need to use the OST file of ABC.com due to some other constraint.

Pretty sure you can't do this. The 'primary' Exchange account has to be EV enabled in order for archiving to work.

Okay, well, there currently isn't any way around this... other than making the EV archiving enabled Exchange account the default.

Or you could use multiple Outlook profiles.
