Sharepoint Add New Sharepoint Site Collection PowerShell

MESP-IT

I have about 600 Sharepoint site colections to add to eVault server.
Does everyone knows of a way to Add a Site colection to eVault using PowerShell Snap-in?

Something like:
Add-EvaultSharepointSite -url "http://WebAppURL/Sites/SiteCollectionURL" -SiteTopLevel $true -SiteSubSites $true -EvaultStore "MOSS Vault Store" -Policy "Company Policy" -ArchivingTask "Company Archiving Task" -RetentionCategory "Company Retention Category"

Thank you.

Sorry, I know of no Powershell to do that.  You might be able to use Auto-enable.  See this:

Adding a SharePoint archiving target

If auto-enable archiving is on, Enterprise Vault automatically adds site collection objects under the SharePoint target object the first time the archiving task runs, and a new archive is created automatically for each of these site collections. Subsites are also archived using the default settings for the target site collection object, but target subsite objects are not displayed in the Administration Console. Documents in subsites are stored in the archive for the top-level site collection.

Thank you for your reply :)

That might be one way to get it, my main problem with this option are other 1300 Site-Collections under same WebApplication that arent supposed to be archived yet.

Resuming, everysingle 'target' that as to be added do EVault are site-collections themselves...
'Up-level site' would be the Web application URL, not a Site-Collection.

I cant believe this will not be a feature in future verisons of the product...

thanks again.

I would diffently place it in the Ideas section of Connect.  I would vote for it!  :)
