Shortcut Re-Creation

Due to Remove shortcuts policy (Remove Older Than one year was selected) Some user shortcuts , have been removed from their mailboxes,  I wanna reprocess them from user archives without restoring, exporting to orginal locations , Is there any other workaround for this other then mentioned technote below in Symantec support site?? Used EV version is 8.0

That's the only way you can do it - though you do have 4 options to choose from.

You can't use restoreshortcutbody registry key to recreate shortcuts, it literally just reformats existing shortcuts, not recreates them. Musa and John are correct, you have to do some form of restore and re-archive
