Some Item unable to move to vault

Hi,

We have a user who have some item unable to move Vault and show "cannot move the items. You don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation"(1_Capture.JPG). and those target show special icon(2_Capture.JPG).

May I know how to fix it?

Hi,

the user tries moving them into his Virtual Vault? 

These are pending items (most probably IPM.Note.EntepriseVault.PendingArchive) meaning that they are being archived by EV and we are usually waiting for a backup to take place (depending on your safety copy settings).

You can wait for the backup to take place or reset these items using the cancel button of the add-in.

Hello Ryan,

The items you show are 'pending archiving' (archived icon with clock on it). This means they are either stuc in the storage queue, or never confirmed of having been backed up, or there was an issue between changing icon and actual archiving.

The good thing is that this icon still is the complete original item. You have 2 options to revert.

1 - Use Mailbox policy, advanced to set 'reset shortcut timeout' to 0, run archiving task in report mode against mailbox.

2 - use docmessageclass to reset messageclass. Make sure there are no correct ' pending archiving'  icons.
