Some client cannot restore archived mail

Win2k3 server running EV6SP3 with Exchange 2003 SP2. When some of the client tried to restore archived mail, got the following error: "Could not process the selected items. Reason: The server response could not be parsed."

This only happened on some client with particular PC. At the same times, when using OWA, all the EV icons are not display.

Hope can get some advise. Thanks.

Sounds like a connectivity issue. You'll have to troubleshoot the problem PC. Start with the obvious, e.g. a local firewall blocking inbound connections. Use a network capture tool to see if you can figure out the problem. What happens with EV through Outlook on this machine?

I did a dtrace on the client and found out there is some connection error when restoring email. But when access the archived mail is normal in Outlook.

I hate to say it, but try using the lite client to see if hte issue still exists. If it doesn't, then you know it's a dcom problem and can troubleshoot from there.
