I've got a file server FILE01 which is happily archiving it's shares, except now a user wants to have the ability to glance at thumbnails of png & jpg files.
These files have already been archived and therefore are only placeholders with no preview option.
I suspect that my best option is to stop archiving part of the way down the folder tree, but how do i do this?
FILE01
- Share1
- SubFolder1
- Pictures to be previewed
- SubFolder2
- Share2

You can create a Folder Policy for Do Not Archive and apply it to that folder.

Would it help to hide the folder by right clicking it and ticking the box to make it hidden. Also ensure the setting in your FSA policy set to archive all files except hidden
