Storage queue - building block

Hello all,

We have 2 mailarchiving servers. we have 1 dr server.

We did not share the storagequeue.

1 mailarchving server has been failed over to the dr server, due to an issue with disks.

The mailarchiving server still has items in the storagequeue location.

How should I proceed:

Do I copy the files to the dr servers storage location, and have them processed there (will they?)

Do I leave them, failback, and then have them processed (will they?)

Do I need to do something else?

Thanks.

Gertjan.

Regards. Gertjan

wouldn't you would want to have the files from the storage queue on HA storage like you have with your indexes and vault store partitions so that you can "failover" in the event of an issue like you described? since i think that's the way to go, if you copy the data from the storage queue over to your DR node my guess is that it would be processed but i havent tested for myself with the scenario you described yet.

Hi Andrew,

I suspected something like that yeah.

I opened a case (Case # 08980449) to get confirmation.

Thanks.
