Hey everyone,
I had an expiry run yesterday and was quite shocked to see the report, I am guessing that I really did not get the performance that it is showing. I am going to set up a dtrace for the next run since I had no errors and this is the only info available. I know that the normal expected expiry is 100-200,000 items per hour so when I saw almost 4 million in 5 minutes knew something was up. We have EV 2007 sp2 on W2K3 std X64 sp2 and are using SAN storage. The indexes are all healthy and no errors anywhere about this. Has anyone seen this before? I am still working on confirming what if anything was actually expired.
