While opening the archive email i am getting this error. this is happening only with one user. The item was archived by Enterprise Vault on ..... There was an error loading this item - some functionality may not be available. note that user system is not on domain. Find the screen shot attached.

Are other users able to open emails when they are not connected to the domain ?
Is the user connected to outlook using RPC over http ?

Yes the other users are able to open the archive emails
yes user is connected through RPC over http.

You will need to capture a client trace of this user. Then post the client trace here, be careful to remove any sesitive data or rename it prior to posting it.

Did you tried resetting the Evclient ?
What version of Exchange are you running ?
As issue is with one user , did you tried Zapping the mailbox ?
1 Check the RPC over HTTP Proxy URL in the Mailbox policy - Advanced tab - Desktop.
2 The URL set above should match the RPC over HTTP proxy URL set in Outlook Connection tab.

I just make the entry of EV Server into Host File of client and it works.
