Unable to get DC for domain

Hi All,

Busy trying to configure Imap on our EV environment but I am constantly getting this error when I run the client access provisioning task;

A fatal error occurred during provisioning. The task will be stopped.
Error: Unable to get DC for domain [Domain.name] - GetDcName() returned error code [1355].

Not sure where to start my troubleshooting with regards to this one.

Do I need to assign permissions on AD itself? If so what permissions? Read? If that is the case wouldnt EV have crashed regardless?

Thanks

do you already have EV for Exchange mailbox archiving fully configured and functioning?

can you post the full errors from the event viewer?

so under client access / imap / provisioning groups, did you create a new provisioning group in Exchange Mailbox, map it to an IMAP policy, select the domain that your Exchange servers are in and where you have mailbox archiving provisioned, and add target users or groups from that domain?

Hi Andrew,

Yes I did.
