Unable to preview Archived item

Hi all need your help on the following issue

Ev 8.0 sp3
Users are not able to preview the archived item it prompts for credentials
They can perform the restore and also manully archive the item
The users running dcom client and also tried switching to lite client .
Have the same issue when try to open archive explorer and serach
The domain admin account dont have any issue . they can open the item just fine .

Please help me on how i should resolve this issue .

Check the permissions on your EV install directory, because remember that IIS relies on NTFS permissions, and Authenticated Users need access to the whole EVDirectory as ASP impersonation will try and execute things such as DirectoryService.exe under the context of the User calling the page.

you could verify this from a quick run of  ProcMon to verify what is being denied on the file system

Is Internet Explorer configured to allow Integrated Windows Authentication? Also, if the users enter their credentials, are they able to preview the items?

Even if the users enter their credentials it does not accept the credentails  ... Integrated windows Authentication is check in the IIS

sounds like to me that Authenticated Users isnt given access to the EV installation directory (mainly C:\Program Files\Enterprise Vault\ and C:\Program Files\Enterprise Vault\webapp\)

Thanks for the Help !! Giving read and excute permission on the NTFS Enterprise vault directory  seems to have resovled the Issue
