Update "saved replica IP address list" for EMC Centera partition connection

Hey folks,

does someone know how to update the list of saved replica IP addresses for an EMC Centera partition?

A customer has moved the secondary centera (replica nodes) and changed the IP addresses but they are not updated. When we click on "test" it just tells us everythings fine. Now we wonder what happens if the primary node goes offline.

I look forward to your feedback!

Thanks!

In the Connection tab, you need to check all 3 buttons:

Test settings, Test, and Save (next to the replica ip-address list). That Save retrieves the info from the primary Centera, and stores it.

When you click Test does it show the new IP's?

See this thread for a similiar issue:

I also found this, but it didn't help.

Thank you.

That kind of answered my question. Thank you.

We clicked on save, but nothing happened. So we cleared the filed and saved them again. Voila! Correct IP addresses.

It's a bit wired.
