Hey guys,
anyone got any experience of upgrading the EV client when Outlook might still be running? Our software distibution is too stupid to run at log-on (i.e. before Startup programs have executed) and it looks like *most of the time* the .msi will pause on a locked file if you run it with Outlook open.
I don't want to kill outlook.exe (obviously) so I've tried deregistering valkyrie before running the install .msi and this then gives an internal error on extend.dat instead (plus it is a bit of a hack so I'm not keen on it as a solution).
Before I send it to the suport desk has anyone been here before?
