I just closed a post I logged a few weeks ago which I received wonderful advice from. Can I just summise what I gathered (https://forums.symantec.com/syment/board/message?board.id=106&message.id=17203#M17203)
We have EV SP2 and our first step with Server will be to go to EV7 SP4. Prior to that however, we intend to update the User Extensions on Outlook 2003 client to the most recent (those supplied with EV 2007). After this has been tested and deployed we will then commence upgrading EV to version 7. Test this and then back it up. Then we will progress to EV 2007.
There was a suggestion to use the deployment scanner that comes with EV 2007, I take it we only need to use this prior to upgrading from EV7 SP4 to EV 2007? Is there a deployment scanner with EV7 that we would need to run?
Does the above sound like a plausible upgrade path to take?
