Using the EV 9.0.2 client on a EV 7.5 Vault Environment

Hi,

We are upgrading an environment from EV 7.5 to 9.0.2. My question is actually quite simple: Is it possible to install the EV 9.0.2 client on our desktops before the actual migration (on our current EV 7.5 environment)? We are not using offline vault.

I've been looking through the compatibility charts but could not find a clear answer on this.

Technically no, since 9 SP1 client came out they changed the compatibility so EV9 clients are certified on EV8 SP4 minimum, but technically they probably will work
