Vault Cache, Content Cache not Synchronising

Hi,

Looking for some help with an issue one of my colleagues has. The Vault Cache is downloaded successfully, looks complete etc.. but the ClientDiagnostics reports about 1,000 items in the content cache when we're expecting around 45,000 items.

The headers (MDC) are all there and we can see all of the items within the cache, although most need to be downloaded before they can be opened.

I've checked all of the policies and the colleague is set to store all items, there is enough free space and the size is set correctly. I have performed a Partial Reset but nothing changes.

Any ideas?

The Client Trace is attached.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

All the client trace really shows is the cache state is clean after trying hierarchy changes/updates because of the partial reset.

It may be helpful to fully reset the Vault Cache and monitor the entire process. You can perform an archiving run now on the user and then remove C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Local\KVS\Enterprise Vault\ and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\KVS\Enterprise Vault\Client\ and then start a sync.

Dtrace EVMonitoring, MigratorServer and w3wp. Check http://localhost/enterpriseVault/vcview.aspx, check the IIS logs and the cst status, and you can use bitsadmin https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000022609 etc etc.
