Have you restarted Storage service?

Refer to the below forum thread

Hello Jesper,

Look at this technote also http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH49804

It has some queries you can run to see if it is still doing stuff.

Hi,

Do you have CA/DA on your environment? If so, you might have items in legal hold thar are delaying the deletion process for this archive. You can also run a dtrace for StorageDelete and see if the archive is being deleted or not.

Hi

Yes i have restartet StorageService a few times.

There should not bee any archives back in this Vault Store, all archives are moved to a new EV server. But when i tried to delete the last partition, it claimed it wasnt empty, so i deleted the Vault Store instead, now both the Vault Store and the last partition is marked for deletion.

I just ran a WinDirTree

The Vault Disk has 87.066 files left = 24,1Gb

Results from dtrace

Line 532 CDeleteVault::DeleteVaultStore Information: Found a non-empty Partition with EntryId = [1A5DC269D3DE19B4D89592356FF4EAAF91q10000vault] for vaultStoreEntryId = [1E78BE347905603468BAA53CC21BB880D1210000vault]

But it seems that it dosnt delete the last items in the partition

Hi,

Looking at the dtrace, I found this message:

472    15:06:11.571     [14956]    (StorageDelete)    <18108>    EV:L     CDeleteVault::DeleteVaultStore Information: No archives found for vaultStoreEntryId = [1E78BE347905603468BAA53CC21BB880D1210000vault]

But you mentioned that you still have 24GB of data on the partitions. Are you sharing within the Vault Store or within the Vault Store Group?

I am not sure what version the Enterprise Vault are you running, but if you sharing level is within the Vault Store Group, that means you have references from another Vault Store on this one. If this is the case, you probably have references form another Vault Store pointing to the savesets on this one.

So the quesiton is, what's the sharing level between Vault Stores?
