Vault Store Partition in Enterprise Vault

Hello

Our "opened" File Vault Store resides on a NTFS volume circa 2TB, currently it has circa 70gb free

Using the article TECH48970 I am able to create a new Vault Store Partition, however can someone explain how the currently archived files can be accessed if the Vault store is changed from opened to "closed" or "ready"

the status of the vault store partition determines if new data gets archived to it. archived items are accessible from closed and open partitions the exact same way.

They will be accessed as normal, the only change is that EV will not write to the closed partition.  I would recommend you open the new partition immediately as not to fill up the closed one.
