Hi.
I have some trouble: Somebody a long time ago deleted DB in SQL server, which contain Vault Store information.
So, now in EV console I have
Vault_Store_Group:
Vault_Srore1
Vault_Srore2
Vault_Store3
But Vault_Store2 hasn't appropriate DB in SQL. Sure, I haven't any backup and any possibilities to restore it.
Now, according to Symantec recomendation I have deleted Vault_Store2 from EV console. Status: Mark for deletion.
EV Server is continuing post erros ans warning as an earlier without any changes.
Event ID13326 "Unable to Create Connection DB_Name "
Event ID 6479 "Error accessing Vault Store database. [Internal reference DBQC1] %2 "
Event ID 13397 (Warning) "The connection 'Provider=SQLOLEDB;Server=SQLSERVERNAME\INSTANCE ;Database=DatabaseName;Trusted_Connection=yes' was lost and the system is waiting to reconnect (Thread Id: 888) "
Another words somebody tryed to delere vault store in reverse mode.
Do you have any idea how to delete Vault_Store2 and remediate Event errors and warnings? Thanks.

Hello.
We have deleted on SQL server all references with old database.
It wasn't difficult to determine deleted vault store. The structure of DB was very easy to understand.
Sure, this solution only for test envoronment. For production I suggest to contact with Symantec.
Thanks everybody for support.

Sounds like you will have to remove the Vault Store reference directly from SQL.
Are you actually ok with deleting this entire vault store?
If you still have the case open with Symantec I would recommend you engage them to give you the steps to remove the reference. If the case is closed, have it re-opened or open a new one. You really don't want to go mucking about the databases on your own. :)

I agree with Tony. You need Symantec Support to assist with getting rid of the database references.. sure consultants can do it too, but, you need the end-result to be validated/confirmed/checked by Symantec. Just in case of any issues in the future.

Hi. Thanks for your reply.
In SQL Server I haven't any mention about this DB. I can't find database files either log files. Any mention in SQL Studio.
In EV - Vault Store present. I have deleted it, but today third day as I have been waiting ... Status "MArked for delete"
This is test infrastrucutre, but EV MUST work correct in this environment also.
Could you please provide me way how to open Symantec Case? (And how much it will cost?)Thanks. As I understood my situation is unique and you haven't any solution for this case. Only one way to solve this problem - Symantec Support.

Ok, I had assumed since you said
Now, according to Symantec recomendation I have deleted Vault_Store2 from EV console. Status: Mark for deletion.
That you had already been in contact with Symantec support. Since this is a lab\test environment that makes it a bit easier to live with losing the db.
Do you have a Symc consultant or SE you are working with?
If you want to PM me your contact info I might be able to help you out.

Sorry. I meant this article (instead "recommendation"):
Sure, this article for normal delete order.
OK. I am going to clarify our relationship with Symantec and contact with you, Tony. Thanks.
Since this is a lab\test environment that makes it a bit easier to live with losing the db.
It is not a problem to live with losing DB. Is a problem to analyze Event log for any other issues. EV is posting Events every 30-40 seconds about losing DB. And I think this trouble also may have impact on other EV functional.

Do you need any more help with this issue ? Did you go to Support ?
