Hi,

Just found an issue restoring emails this week for one of our users.
When the user tries to restore this from Outlook, the icon changes to "in progress" and then after a short while, the icon reverts back to acrhived. No error on from the client side.

Does any one know how to fix this?

Environment:
Enterprise Vault 8.04

Exchange 2007 SP3

Checking on the Evault server, I see this in the logs:

The first thing to do is to check to see if the saveset does actually exist in the Vault Store partition. If it doesn't then the item may have been deleted from the archive, either through expiry or through deletion via search or Archive Explorer, in which case the shortcut would not have been automatically deleted from the mailbox. You can also run EVSVR against the Vault Store to see if there are actually a number of missing files as opposed to items which have been properly deleted

 Hi Nick,

Thanks for your help. I ran the EVSVR tool using the verify option and this is the output:

Doesnt seem like there are any issues?

If there are no issues then the item was either expired or it was deleted by the user without deleting the shortcut. Do you have expiry and/or user deletion enabled?
