Dear All,
As we are facing performance issues die to indexing task we need to move exisiting index task to dedicated EV index server. Customer is using VCS for the HA.

well its the same
You could have something like
EVServer1 -> evserver1NodeA.mydomain.com
EVServer1 -> evserver1NodeB.mydomain.com
EVServer2 -> evserver2NodeA.mydomain.com
EVServer2 -> evserver2NodeB.mydomain.com
Or you could just have both servers configured to a single server, or one server is in an active/passive, and the other server is stand alone, doesn't matter
Just setup the second server with EV, join to the site, give it an indexing service
then stop all the services, move all the index data from server1 to server2 and update the SQL like the technote says and then it will be controlled by the new server
Just don't push across the indexmetadata, let the synchronization process on index startup take care of that

Thank you for providing the link, how ever we need to move index task which is configured on VCS cluster. How we can achive this scenario?
