We received below message when access web link:
"Your search request failed because an Enterprise Vault service was not available.Wait and try again. If the problem persists, contact your Enterprise Vault administrator."
We also try to restart ev service but still show the message. should i need to wait some time or any action can fix it?
Basically search related request is handled by EV indexing service. After start (or restart) of this service it does not mean it will start responding immediately to user request until it’s fully functional.
In your event viewer, you should see 41299 “The Indexing Service is pending initialization”, Event 41302 stating “The Indexing Service has completed its initialization. The service is now functioning fully” Then event 41297 “The Indexing Service has started (184.108.40.2065)”.
If there is some issue during startup of indexing service, take dtrace of EVIndexingAdminService to know details of issue.
