What is use of SetEVExchangePermissions &SetEVThrottlingPolicy for Enterprise vault

Dear Team,

one of my client asking why need to run SetEVExchangePermissions scripet on exchnage server. what will happen if run this on exchange server and what is impact 

i just want to know what is use of this scripet .

Well, the throttling script relaxes the throttling which would otherwise mean that Exchange slows down the archiving being done by EV>

The permission script sets the appropriate permissions so that the Vault Service Account can archive data from mailboxes.

But which permission Assign to set to vault services account, Suppose my client doesn’t want to run this script on exchange server  so what will happen
