What to do with legacy/ghost/expired/deleted accounts that no longer exist in AD? Exchange Archives.

I
've got a few hundred accounts that have been deleted, but their archive remains. I don't want to manually disable each user with the wizard in the admin console... is there a way to use the powershell snapin to do this in bulk?

I'll also need to remove the archive somehow... we have retention set up so I can't just right click and delete the archives... it will sit there at "pending" forever until I empty the archive and clear some bits in the SQL database. Yuck.

Can you clarify that bit for me because thats not how it should work, which means you have other issues going on

unless that is your retention is on a compliance device such as Centera, in which case you will have to wait for the items to expire and then delete the archive
otherwise it really doesn't matter much if you dont disable the archive really

I use a Centera, and the items won't expire.

First things first though, disable 160 users... any fast way to do that? Powershell? EVPM? anything?
