Write to more than one netapp storage partition / Software based replication

Hi,

a general question. Is it somehow possible to write the same data with enterprise vault to two netapp storage partitions?

I know that there are tools to replicate the data between the netapp´s but is it possible to write data to two locations (different datacenters) natively with EV?

Regards

Jakob

Not natively with EV. EV can only keep one open partition at a time receiving data.

If you were to set up some other software to replicate that data to another location once EV writes it, that's fine. But you can't tell EV to write the storage data twice.

Hello Jakob,

If you have the need to have this data replicated for some reason, and you have budget, you might want to look at Quadrotech's EVNearSync. That can sync from a to b, and might offer what you need.?

EVNEARSYNC
