Hi People,

I've just successfully upgraded the EV server from 10.0.4 into 11.0.4 (CHF4), but when I browse around to see the new feature, I got this error:

Your account is not associated with any archives that are enabled for IMAP access.

 

why is that happening ?

I just wanted to know what email that is archived on my Exchange Mailbox.

you have to create and configure the IMAP feature along with a provisioning task for IMAP. once you have that in place you can enable accounts for IMAP access.

IMAP allows you to connect mobile devices to Enterprise Vault such as Blackberry and Iphones over SMTP and IMAP protocols.

This feature needs to be activated seperatly after upgrading.

One thing you also have to know about new features is, that the new search functionality needs to be activated too, if you want to use it.
