archive linked mailbox in exchagne server

Hi,

Please be informed that we are planning use linked mailbox for our another Domain user to use our existing exchange server for  send & receive email . There are 2 domains and already trust, the domain include Exchange is “aaa.com”. the another domain is “bbb.com” which windows account will use linked mailbox function to our existing exchange server.

Question:

1.May I know do EV can archive linked mailbox?

2.Since our existing user use virtual Cache and show their archive email, may I know domain “bbb.com” user's outlook can also have the same mothed to show their archived email in outlook?

I think you have to set this up and test it but I do not think the issue is as big of a deal as you think. Mostly EV works off the mailbox and only cares a little about where the user is. It takes the permissions assocaites with that mailbox so if AAA is on BBB's archive it should go. One area I can see of potential challenge is that the VSA (or syncing account) can read domain accounts from AAA and if it exists in BBB.
