cache folder location

Dear,

My users are facing credential prompt while synchronization of vault cahe, it was everything fine before 1 week but suddenly this issue has occured.

On EV server I found that everyone group is added under security tab on cache folder location, is this correct or everyone group should be removed from that location ?

Hi Danish,

Please try :

Solution 1: Disable Basic Authentication in IIS /Enterprise Vault Virtual Directory.

Solution 2: Check if the Enterprise Vault server and alias are listed under Internet Explorer - Tools - Internet Options - Security - Local Intranet - Sites - Advanced. Also check "Automatic logon only in local intranet" Custom Level option. Or if the Enterprise Vault Server is listed on Trusted site zone "Automatic logon with current user name and password" should be selected.
