deactivate Office Mail Enterprise Vault bar in Outlook

Hi,

is there a way to hide the Enterprise Vault Office Mail bar that is shown within Outlook?

I only want to show it within OWA. The setting in the corresponding Desktop Policy "only OWA" does not take away the bar itself within Outlook.

I know that was not possible some time ago. Has there been a change?

There has not been a change. The Desktop Policy setting controls whether the EV app's functionality is available in Outlook, but unfortunately it does not hide the app's container. My understanding is that this is a limitation of the Office Mail App platform.
