eVAult and Exchange - How do I push items out of the vault. Not Export

Always_Somethin

I am running Enterprise Vault 11.0.1 and Exchange 2010.

We have several thousand ex-employeeswho's data has been vaulted for more than five years.

We no longer what their data in EV but dont want it expired either.

We would like to push it out of the vault leaving no copy/items vaulted.

I know how to export which we do for say third party discovery but that leaves a copy in the vault.

How can I remove items and verify the archive is empty then deleting Exchange the archive?

Any advice or process offering would be greatly appreciated.

It's always something...

Maybe I'm missing something, but what is wrong with exporting the items and then right-clicking and deleting the archive?

If you really want it to empty the archive at the same time it's exporting, you can use this option in the Export Wizard:

But there's really no reason you need to do it that way.

Hi Chris

Thank you for replying.

Mamagement gets a warm fuzzy about what is called success if a vault were to be empty at the end of the export.

I believe the option below is adaquate
