At a customer, the archiving report shows errors.
It says "Warning: failed to process mailbox" for some users in the same retention group.
But archiving works fine on schedule and also on manualy.
Archiving strategy is based on age and quota.
Did anybody knows something about this.
Best regards
Thorsten

Which version of EV are they using?
Also, what is the maximum number of items per target per pass? (This is set on the properties of the archiving task)
Check how many unarchived items in the mailbox are not old enough to be archived based on age.

This could be a known issue where the mailbox contains more unarchived items than the maximum number of items to archive per pass, but the mailbox is under quota and there are no items to be archived based on age.
If you want confirmation, or think it's a different issue, then please raise this with Veritas Support.

I have this behaviour in our customer's environment. (11.0.1CHF5)
Do you know if there is a hotfix or workaround?
Is this known issue reported in some KB
Many thanks

You can click on "More Details" in the archiving report to see more informations.
Check if there are items pending or ineligable for archiving. Also check Policy settings. Check if you have excluded the trash bin and see if the user has a lot of items there.
There can be various reasons
