how to Change "Microsoft Outlook" on the "Enterprise Vault server"

Hello,

I have a quick question.

On a Server with Enterprise Vault 11.0.4 installed archiving from Exchange 2010 sp3 ru 29, the outlook used is Outlook 2007 sp3 32 bits, now we are about to start migrate exchange to 2016.

In the Exchange Server supportability matrix (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/plan-and-deploy/supportability-matrix?view=exchserver-2019) this outlook version is not support.

I need to upgrade to Outlook 2013 SP1 32 bits.

What I need to do, just uninstall outlook 2007 and install outlook 2013?

Hello,

Stop Enterprise Vault services, uninstall old Outlook, install new Outlook.

Start Enterprise Vault services again.

Been there, done that :)
