Hi,
We are using enterprise vault 9.0.1.
When users reply to an email in outlook they get an informational message on that mail "You replied on this message on ...".
If an email is already archived and they reply to an archived mail then they don't get the informational message "You replied on this message on ...". Well they get the message when the archived item is opened and they see the original mail. But when they close this mail and open the archived copy of that mail again this informational message isn't there. As I presume the archive item isn't updated so the extra info isn't applied.
Is there something I can do to make this message appear?
Thanks for the help.
Best regards,
JB

No there is nothing you can do to get the message to save when viewing archived messages.
The only way you could do it, is if you restore the email back to the mailbox first - then reply to the message.

John,
Thanks for the answer.
Does version 10 make any difference?
