have you tried installing the Agent locally on the server instead of push-installing?
07-03-2012 09:16 AM
net helpmsg 1603 returns "Fatal error during installation."
Have you run Deployment Scanner with this file server to confirm if all the pre-reqs have been addressed?

You seem to be installing EV 10.0
Might be an idea to try 10.0.1

Thank you
This log is installing the Agent locally.
now, this is EV 10.0.1

I think FSA rsidual files in the server.
How can I clear the agent file?

Not sure I understand what you are saying.... sounds like you tried to install the 10.0.1 FSA Agent binaries locally on the file server.
Are you having issues installing? Do you see any errors?
Usually the Agent install can overwrite existing binaries
please provide more details

I install like this:
msiexec /i ev64.mis /L*v ev.log
and use domain\evadmin password
no error display there is the completed imformation. (the ev.jpg.)
It said your system has not been modified.
I install again, same like this.

Can you try logging into the file server with an Administrator account, and doubleclick on the original Agent MSI copied locally from the EV server?
Have you run the Deployment Scanner? Does it report the File Server as having all pre-reqs covered?
07-04-2012 08:34 AM
I doubleclick on the original Agent MSI , the same display the ev.jpg. no install log.
I run Deployment Scanner on EV , add flie server . there is no error and warning about flie server.
Can someone from the installation log to see the problem?

You have the exact same error as this guy
https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/ev9-fsa-agent-install-failure-isscript'
"Property(C): ISSCRIPT_VERSION_MISSING = The InstallScript engine is missing from this machine. If available, please run ISScript.msi, or contact your support personnel for further assistance."
