Hi,
I have an environment where I archive data after a period of time from user's mailboxes. I can get from the provided usage.asp page detailed info on how many items each archive contains, size etc.
Now, I want to add Journaling to catch up every mail traffic. BUT - items will be written down to journal store, and stay "alive" in users mailbox until they will be re-processed by standard archiving task.
So... when an item gets archived in Journal, and after few months gets re-processed by standard archive task (SIS enabled) - will I still be able to run the usage.asp report and get accurate data on user archive size?
I want to make sure I'm not disabling the option of running a user usage report.
Hope I explained myself correctly

yes the usage report will still show you the proper stats for the user archive size and item count.

was wondering about it and don't have a lab with both Journal & Mailbox archive to test it...
