message character setting?

In our archive policy, we have message character set to 2,000,000. Is it too much?

I would say so. Why not use message body? How many messages include more than 2 million characters. The only real reason for using character count in a shortcut is to maximize storage savings on Exchange.

Yes, I believe we set the shortcut body message character to 2M is to save storage on Exchange. Where can I find the setting for message body?  How do you do it? Thanks

 I think 2M is a bit excessive.  :)  

Look at the mailbox policy shortcut content tab.
