move ISG members to other DC

Hello all,
Does anyone has experience with the below scenario?

One Index Server Group, containing 4 physical Index servers, 2 Index server in DC1, 2 in DC2.
Disks with indexes are replicated from DC1 to DC2 and VV.
If a DR occurrs, USL is used to move indexing from the 2 servers in DC2 to DC1.
This means the replicated disks are also mounted in DC1, and replication is changed to replicate from DC1 to DC2.
The indexlocation is in a subfolder d:\Indexdata\
Each server has it's specific naming:
Server1 = d:\Indexdata\Vol1
Server2 = d:\indexdata\Vol2
Server3 = d:\Indexdata\Vol3
Server4 = d:\indexdata\Vol4

To ease managing, DR, and improve indexing speed, we want to move the DC2 index servers to DC1. We'll also move the storage servers from DC2 to DC1, but these are virtuals,
and writing to Centera, no unknowns here.

I thnk on the below approach:

1 - Purchase and install 4 new physical servers, 2 in each DC.
2 - On the new, install OS and configure OS.
3 - Set backup mode on indexing part
4 - Verify index data is replicated both ways and in sync
5 - Set backup mode on Vault Stores
On the new servers install EV Indexing component.
6 - Add the 4 servers to the existing ISG
7 - Mount the appropriate disks on the 2 new servers in DC1
8 - Follow https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000070518.html to change location
9 - Change DNS aliasses for the 2 indexservers in DC2 to point to the new servers in DC1
10 - Run USL in EV to activate the indexing on the new servers DC1
11 - Configure replication from active (DC1) to passive (DC2) site for indexing disks.

Does that look ok?
Am i forgetting something, or perhaps do too much? I am not too sure about step 8/9/10.
Is perhaps the USL enough?

Thanks for your suggestions.

GJ.

Hi Gertjan,

This looks fine technically. But what about the Storage servers at DR, are you not planning to replace them with new servers?

Hello Virgil,

The storage servers are VM's. We'll move these over to a VMWare host in the DC, which should (...) not require replacing them as far as I am aware. But, thanks for noticing.

Thanks for answering the other question. I was looking for confirmation, to verify my way of thinking was correct.
