Background:

For internal user, outlook client point  to <intraev.abc.com> access internal EV is ok;

For external user, outlok client point to <abc.com> -> proxy server -> <intraev.abc.com> access internal EV;

Any suggetion to solve the problem, does EV support two separate URL for this case?

Have a look here:

it is for EV12.3, but probably also applies to earlier versions.

Yes, the EV Outlook Add-in can be configured to use an external address when it detects that the user is connected via Outlook Anywhere, while continuing to use the default (internal) web app URL when not.

The setting you're looking for is called "Alternative Web Application URL" in recent versions of EV, and you can read more about it here.

It's not clear from your post whether you are looking to start using this or to stop using it, but either way, that setting should provide the answer for you.

Thanks Chris. For Office mail app, seems cannot supprot different url access for internal and external. is it true? in case of client to leverage outlook ad-in for internal url access which is not required any alternate configuration on outlook add-in. am i right?
