"Move To Original Location", correct operation and more....

When a user uses the "Move to oriinal location" feature from Archive Explorer, should the shortcut be deleted automatically? It is causing some confusion here amongst users.

Also..


Is there any way to make "Restore From Vault" also delete the vaulted entry as well, sort of making it act like a "move" and not a "copy".

Hey Brian,

For the Move question, no the shortcut is not automatically removed.

For the Restore question, sorry, but that is a no.

Thank you as always, Tony. It would be nice if the shortcut was deleted, but since the action isn't being initiated from the client side I can see how it would be harder to do. Perhaps having both Move & Restore options from the client side would be handy.

For the "move" operation, it is expected to have the item deleted from the user's archive, correct? Thanks again.

Yes, the move operation deletes the item from the archive.
