restore item and the DVS still there

Hi All,

I would like to know more about the archive and restore,

When I archive, I saw the partition will create a folder base on Date , and there have a file xxx.dvs

But even I restored the item from by Outlook, the file still there?

It wont clean by itself??

restore does not remove the item from the archive so yes the saveset ".dvs ect" will stay on disk untill it has expired and deleted from the archive.
