restoring journal mailbox items into pst

Hi all

We are using EV 9.0.1 with only journal mailbox archiving. One of our user has lost his PST

My question is, should I search all his mails and restore into the PST format?

I can find the emails from explorer and able to restore it in the basket but when I define the exchange mailbox to restore it has failed.

You can enable the restore to PST function via the webapp however It may take some time to do them all as the search doesn't work well with anything more than 750 items http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH35558

do you have Discovery Accerator? (it's part of the licensed product if you have journaling so you should already own it)

you can create a new case, search for anything to/from the user or whatever parameters you want to use to help get him some email back. check the results, accept them into the case, then export to PST!
