Enterprise Vault 12.4.0.1303 on Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard, Exchange 2013
Some users aren't getting their old e-mails archived automatically.
Recently we've had a few reports of users going over their Exchange mailbox storage limits and noticed the youngest items in their EV archives are older than the expected three months.
The services and tasks look they are running fine.
On further investigation, it looks like e-mail isn't getting archived from two of the six Exchange servers.
The a5 queues for these two Exchange servers have thousands of messages in them but they are all from October or November last year.
Is it safe to purge the a5 queues for these two Exchange servers (with EV services stopped) to see if that gets things going again, or is there something else I should be checking?
Thanks

Yes, you can purge those. You might want to give this a read first: https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100018145

Ended up purging all the queues with anything in them (there was nothing in the a1 queues, which I'm told you shouldn't purge anyway) for the affected servers, then it started working. a5s were the bulk of the items though.
Thanks!
