If any chance that I lost the box product that I have purchase, Is there a chance to retrieve the license information? I did not register the serial number in the portal?

Call licensing on the local support no. they can help you to get the information with the help of you email address or the company name

I was told that they cannot pull up the records if the serial number was not registered on the portal. If that is the case, then the CD that I have is useless?

If that's the case try to contact your reseller and see if he is any information avaliable.

If you have purchased the box product through a reseller they might have the records.
Or if you still have the POP- proof of purchase Symantec licensing team might be able to help you.
CD alone is not sufficieant to be able to pull up records.

Exactly. CD Alone is not sufficient to get the license information. Let me try to call customer care first. Thanks everyone.
