Is there a way we can change the contact address of Connect? The email textbox is grayed out.

Changing your email address needs to be done through SymAccount.
There's a link on your user profile page and detailed instructions in the Connect FAQ:

Log in to Connect
Navigate to Account, My Profile, Click on SymAccount Link
This would ask you to provide your current credentials. And select MySymantec as Target
Once logged in. Click on MySymAccount
This would Unlock way to change your Connect email ID

Not sure why speedfreak's post was marked down, but he is 100% correct. Simply click on the SymAccount link under Profile -> Edit Account.
To change your password, update your e-mail address or company name, please visit your SymAccount page.
I have personally done this a couple of months ago....
