Outlook 7 and e-mail passwords

I have just installed Outlook 7 to my new computer. Everytime outlook looks to receive or send e-mail (either automatically or when I click send/receive) it asks for my e-mail password...Service provider is Verizon. My password has been saved, why does it keep asking for it? Any way I can fix this?

Let me know which OS you are using and is it MS outlook 2007?
